Positive Comments: This is funky and blues style R&B with a solid and slapping arrangement. Very well written tune that I could definitely see being a hit for Santana or someone else in that vein.
Constructive Comments: The tune and arrangement are really good, the horn parts, keyboard lines , rhythms are all punchy and tight, all really nicely done. Lyrics are very good. I really see a potential hit in the song. Whatever the effect on the vocal is though I’d get rid of it, the vocal is a bit weak, and the guitar though quite good, is so much like Santana, that my inclination is to compare it directly,. His phrasing and sense of articulation is better, his bends a little deeper and more intense … ect… but that is an ” extremely ” high standard to meet.
