Broadjam Artist: Ronald Arduini
Song: Rocks of Life/duet
Reviewer: James McAlister
Positive Comments: The use of the IV minor chord is effective in casting a sorrowful mood of the song. The rendition sounds similar to the Righteous Brothers. The harmonies seem to work well!
Constructive Comments: The recording was a little hard to hear, so I didn’t get some of the lyrics and therefore hard for me to say much about how well they are put together. I think if the final level of the recording were bumped up a little, it would help. The melody is actually quite good, but again, without being able to hear the lyric flow, it doesn’t get very far. I think the vocal was out front enough, just the overall recording level was too low. Pleasant and easy to listen to though.
