Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Hollywood, Hollywood (was #1 Broadjam: Rock)
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: This is one of the most lyrically intelligent songs I have ever reviewed on Broadjam. It’s an amazing warning and expose’ of the town that eats people alive and spits ’em out. The songwriter tells the story alarmingly well. He’s probably been there and done that…or observed the trouble and escaped before it was too late. Best lyric/rhyme: thick skin/silicone sins. That’s powerful creative writing. The verses lead right into the hook, but there is always a surprise around the next corner.
Constructive Comments: I almost gave this a 4 in market potential, but it was such an amazing song, I had to give it straight up 5’s. Could be shorter but what would you cut??? If this isn’t a Chet Nichols song, I’m a monkey’s aunt. Way to go, buddy, this is one of your best. Your fan in Florida, Mrs. Kate
