Positive Comments: This has a Breaking Benjamin sort of vibe to me. It’s heavy and very very tight with a number of subtle arrangement moments perfectly designed and executed. The drum track has fantastic groove with a rolling feel and big accents on 2 & 4 that propel the tune. The vocal performance is passionate with lyrics/melody/phrasing the work extremely well in the tune. This is radio worthy Modern Rock.
Constructive Comments: The vocal is a bit too dry and close. You need to boost it with a bit more doubling and distance with reverb/delay to taste. Me I love hard guitars but really dislike piercing “bee in a beer can” solo tones. Personal taste but I’d like a more mellow, yet agressive tone on the solos. I think you might be 10 years too late on the vibe, but this ain’t my listening area so maybe not? Nice work regardless. Ever listen to Ian Thornley and Big Wreck?
