Positive Comments: Exceptional acoustic guitar work. A compelling tune and chord progression. Strong vocalist, who puts the song over with passion. The song has a timeless quality but fits in quite nicely to the current acoustic singer-songwriter scene.
Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the quality of the recording not specifically because it has been badly recorded but rather because I think the mix could be better. For my money the vocal is too low in the mix given that the vocal is strong and ultimately the vocal sells the song. Also the track is too bassy to my ear and there is a 5 or 6 second gap at the start that should be cropped. I hope this doesn’t sound too critical it isn’t meant to be, because I like the song and the playing a lot.
