Positive Comments: This sounds like a classic Janis Ian or Phoebe Snow song from the 70’s. Really really strong vocals, lyrics, and song construction. It has that classic Joe Osborne pick bass sound, and some really superb arrangement touches–like the changes on that pre-chorus melody and changes (“gave me no warning signs” ). The vocal vibrato is fine as single malt scotch. What a pleasure to listen to this!
