Positive Comments: Very difficult to judge a piece like this. So much depends on context. It may fit perfectly with what the composer has in mind. As a stand alone song, it has its moments. I liked the more majestic parts as opposed to the sections with the “stuttering” effect.
Constructive Comments: The drum sounds bothered me. I thought it took away from the piece. Timpani’s may have helped. By my taste, the drums were too brittle. Too much high end. Still, it could be appropriate for the intent of the composer.
