Song: Time To Fly

Positive Comments: I very much like the sound of this recording. I confess I had difficulty understanding the lyrics so I could not come up with a title. The ingredients are here to bake the cake.I’d love to do the mixing. The backing track has excellent emotional appeal.I don’t know how much was guitar and how much was synth but ultimately it makes no difference. The singer has an engaging vocal quality. It fits the track nicely. Good dynamics between the softer vs the louder parts.
Constructive Comments: I think the intro guitar fails to set up the track that follows. That’s an easy correction and worth the effort. It doesn’t do the song damage, however, so if the producer likes it… not a problem. I’d like a tad more presence on the vocal not buried so much in the track. The vocal has an interesting quality. I’d like to hear it more clearly. Its not as though the singer needs to be hidden in the bushes. As I said, the vocal has an interesting quality. The ending is a little ragged. No big deal but the recording is worth the effort. Sail on…
