Positive Comments: Lovely song, soulful and heartfelt. Great vocals with a fine variety of instruments in the backing. It is difficult to be original with the hook for a song of this religious/country genre but this one works well and is still in my head several minutes later.
Constructive Comments: I really like this song and hope you will take my comments as trying to be constructive. This song would be even better with just a little refinement in the arrangement. For instance, the side to side effect on the opening electric piano is a bit full-on and could be reduced without taking away from the nice simple start. For me, the synth pad could come in one bar earlier at the first “breathe on me” and could be a little more gentle so that it comes in very quietly and builds through the hook.This is a really good song with great potential – I like it a lot.
