Song: Trampoline

Positive Comments: OK someone’s been listening to Edith Piaf and St Vincent… This is innocent, creepy, 1930’s, and current all at once. And you start getting a bit alt-Country as it goes along. This is a fantastically compelling vocal performance. Comparisons: Lucinda Williams, Annie Clark, Anna Calvi and an AltCountry singer I can’t remember the name. This is real Art with a capital A–there’s so much originality, quirk, and passion here.
Constructive Comments: Big NO to that Syndrums TOOM TOOM sound in the first break. I think you need a chorus or refrain that’s big and brings in backing vocals, and one that offers a big contrasting lift to the verses. You’ve got a cult favorite here that needs some architectural moves yet to bring it to the best it can be but this is so cool.
