Positive Comments: This obviously Bill Dake, and it’s one of his best. Great lyrics, arrangement, and wistful vocal performance. Some mighty fine guitar work This is a great tune!!
Constructive Comments: There’s a lot of booming bass and low mid frequency that needs to be reined in. I think the backing vocals could use more coordination and tightening up on the timing, harmonies just have it punch really cleanly. The drums have too much room mic for my taste–I’d like to hear them closer.
