Positive Comments: Some sweet soul music , reminiscent of Sam and Dave, with a little Sam Cool thrown in …voice got some nice gravel in it.
Constructive Comments: Musically this is very authentic, voice it deep, overall arrangement is good. Instrumentation sounds a little cheesy and the recording is weak, should probably be louder. Lyrics don’t really do much either. Honestly, despite the fact that I like the vocalist, my initial impulse was is say take the vocal out and the vamp could probably sell as an instrumental. The playing is good, and it all has a very catchy and familiar sound to it.
