Song: Who’s gonna turn on a light
Reviewer: Gladstone Avenue
Positive Comments: Interesting treatment of a Christian song. I like the effort and I like the fact that this is not just a song that recycles lifted Biblical terminology, but has some message substance. The gritty vocal adds some power to the message. I have not always been a fan of this kind of cleats, but I think i t works on this song.
Constructive Comments: I waver in my opinion abut the vocalist. I’m more traditional in my vocal values, so understand that. On the one hand, I like vocalists who nail pitch. Then again, the gritty sound on this vocal fits the category or rock and is hence appropriate for the song.
