Song: The Way You Make Me Smile
Reviewer: Bill Oboczky
Positive Comments: Definite market potential, very sweet song and seems truly heartfelt and sincere. Very professionally written and the performances were very good.Nice strong hook. Hopefully I guessed the name of the song right, seems obvious to me! With some a few production tweaks, I could hear this getting airplay.
Constructive Comments: I would have liked to hear the vocals a bit more up front in the mix, they seemed about 2 or 3db low. I found myself losing focus on the vocalist by some of the instrument parts. I also found the bass guitar a bit hotter in the mix than I would have liked for this genre, but that could be just my preference as well. Overall, a very nice song with solid performances from the singer and guitarist in particular. In my opinion, say, 95% of the way to a hit!Keep up the great work!
