Broadjam Artist: N.Jones, Music Designer (Protilius Productions)
Song: My God Too (Solutions In Anarchy 2009)
Reviewer: Floyd Kelly
Positive Comments: This is a raucous electronic track which features a grungy-sounding vocalist, alot of “jumbling” and “fumbling” all the way to the end. This is music for taking overly dramatic selfies, hanging upside down just for fun or for when I’m re-arranging my DVD collection.
Constructive Comments: There was no introduction to this piece and really needs one. The vocalist should have come into the piece after setting up the listening environment. The high agogo or bongo percussion in the beginning could use some work. I could only understand a few things the vocalist was singing. Later in this piece, all the sounds and the vocal are all going and it’s a big jumble in the listener’s ear. This musical piece was irritating because it seems more thought needs to be put into this to make it more attractive. I think another mix should be done on this to bring more clarity as well as the composition itself to give more meaning. Please remember, until now, our family has never heard this, we don’t know the artist or how this was made. We hope you have a great 2017!
