Positive Comments: Ruby is sad and wants to be alone and think about things for a while. So Ruby dawns her winter attire to go for a walk in the heart of Brooklyn perhaps on a cold winter’s night. A movie clip of Ruby walking around town the snow falling around her and she is in deep thought about a subject matter relevant to the movie plot – yes – this musical piece would be nice to hear as a backing. It is a slow tempo smooth jazzy fusion piece. I like this piece of music.
Constructive Comments: Even though I do not normally listen to this style, having listened to too many music numbers to count over the years two thumbs up for those that do enjoy this style and the production quality is spot-on … my first listen through on this, I was both at-ease and grooving at the same time – I like the pause you took with that awesome light echoey keypad in the back. I would categorize this more as a smooth jazz or jazz fusion. I took off a mark for the claps at the beginning, I think with a little more natural sound in that part would have been really cool. I like that backing vocal that came in.
