Positive Comments: I like it. Sounds like it could be in a Movie Soundtrack. The Concept of the Song from top to bottom is pretty cool. The Music and Lyrics work. The Guitar in the background is nicely executed. I like the Monotone Vocals. Gives it a modern vibe. Drum Loop sound is pretty good. I like how the Drums sit out in the Choruses.Arrangement is simple but direct. I like the fact that it’s not made overly complicated.
Constructive Comments: The Whistle in the beginning is a bit out of pitch and distracting. Also, the Doubled Vocals aren’t quite on with each other. Arrangement-wise it’s also a bit too repetitive. I think you could have added a bit more Peaks and Valleys in the Dynamics to keep the listener engaged. the Song building to some sort of Climax.Maybe gone for it a it more on the Vocals towards the end. I get the mono-tone thing and it seems to give it a current vibe but you want to give the listener that oh, yeah moment.Perhaps a smoother Solo Guitar Sound. The Acoustics sound like they were recorded Direct. You’d get a much richer Sound putting a Mic in front of it.Perhaps adding a bit to the Drums to break up the Loop pattern.Overall, it still sounds a bit too much like a Demo. I’d like to hear a more realized version recorded in a Good Studio with real Drums and Mic’d Guitars.
