Song: He Can Dance (Julie Burton)
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Oh wow, what a tightly crafted song. Tells such a real story…the girl who’s “still looking” in the bars and the personal ads and finally has one on the line. Singer urges her, “Take a chance”. I love the “I hear he can cook and he can dance.” GREAT lyric writing. This writer knows “word economy”. How to say a lot simply and really get the point across. The hook is impeccable. I just love the whole song. If it’s a true story, I’d like to hear how it turned out. The instrumentation is oh so perfect…loved the fiddle especially. Crystal clear vocals and terrific performance. Favorite lyric: Engraved invite to an open door. Wow. 10 stars!
Constructive Comments: No reason why this shouldn’t hit top on the charts. And I definitely hope to hear more of your great songs. Keep up the good work. This is one of the best country songs I have reviewed on Broadjam.Mrs. Kate
