Positive Comments: Nice intro, I love the way the piano player plays! Reminds me of the great Bruce Hornsby (hopefully a complement). Beautiful chord progressions keeps it interesting. Loving the live piano recording (or great sounding midi recording!).
Constructive Comments: Song is good as a solo, for me, it could be great with more accompaniment. Especially noticeable in the 2 minute area before the bridge… oh how I would love to hear a violin melody there or simply accompaniment. Having a solo instrument would enhance the melody where as now the ‘hook’ is more or less the progression…. you could really take the song to a deeper level if by adding just lead instrument and decided on a theme… hone in on and scrutinize a melody as a singer might. Just sayin, if anything, that’s what I heard which was missing.
