Song: Excellent Day
Reviewer: Steven Furr
Positive Comments: Very nice, reminds me of a song from the sixties, perhaps the Yardbirds or the Animals. Nice retro groove. Lyrics are fun to listen to. Very capable bass player. I like the guitar solo playing in the background, nice touch. The slide guitar at the intro reminds me of George Harrison.
Constructive Comments: I’m thinking this was meant to be a demo, the recording is not broadcast quality. I’d like to hear a nice professional recording of this. Mic and mix the instruments properly and this thing will come alive! Bring out the drums and tighten up the sound of the bass and you will have a very nice recording.
