I loved the vocals and piano.I wanted more specific of why the day was so special for you in the verses and the big payoff in the chorus.Did you like specific instrumental parts–vocals and piano1) Does my intro make you want to hear the song? yes2) Does my opening line draw you in and make you want to hear more? Somewhat 3) Is my melody interesting? yes4) Does my melody get stuck in your head? yes 5) Does my chorus stand out and take the song to a higher place? Somewhat.

Constructive Comments: My humble suggestions for the arrangement are to contrast more between the verse and chorus. I loved that piano break you had after the chorus–just lovely. You might want to tighten up the mix to get your time below three minutes. The lyrics were general and I wanted specific details. In V1 set up the characters, context and setting. The chorus is the hook of the song and V2 add more specific details playing to your hooks. Wishing you that best with this song. Happy writing.6) Is my chorus easy to sing along with after one listen? yes7) What does my song make the listener want to do? Dance? Cry? Laugh? Sing? Sing along8) What universal emotion does my song tap into? Longing 9) Is my idea strong enough to carry an entire song? Somewhat 10) Would I want to listen to this over and over in my car? Yes with better lyrics.
