It seems that since he&#8217;s LOOKING for a reason to take her back, maybe he doesn&#8217;t really want things the way they were. The line about having to hide how he really feels wasn&#8217;t explained anywhere in the song. I think if you tighten up the lyrics just a bit, it might be clearer. Thanks for sharing.
