Song: Love And The Leaving (Rock – Alternative Pop, Pop – Alternative)

Reviewer: paul sandberg

Positive Comments: nice production – rich guitar tone, nice panning with wide spectrum. Vocals are solid with nice emotion. This song reminds me a bit of some of the more ballad numbers by 3 Doors Down (thankfully without the slamming power chords that I think ruined a lot of their songs)The lyrics are bittersweet and the melody works within the chord structure.Beginning the song with the chorus is always a nice, different touch.

Constructive Comments: the repeating of words in the chorus, while effective in its own way I felt was more of an affectation and didn’t really do it for me, but that’s just my own preference.this is a beautifully crafted song that perhaps could use a bit more counterpoint, but again, that’s my preference. nicely done!
