The electric piano gives it that Doobies, Steely Dan vibe. It also has a Huey Lewis feel to it. This tune, despite the subject matter, is pure 1979 MOR rock/pop. That guitar solo is Peg to the max! Love. Nice, groove and everything is mixed well and right in the sonic pocket. I dig though it’s not my bag. If I recorded you we’d be total buds and we’d go out for a beer!

Constructive Comments: OK, so the lyrics… kinda trite and played. Not a great deal of feel in the vocal but it’ll all there in terms of pitch and melody. Just songs about the internet and technology rub ME the wrong way. The drums sound like programmed canned drums which is very correct for the era but I’d like to hear a slick drummer wail on this. Not my jam, but you are good at what you do so keep on!

Broadjam Artist: Bob BirthiselSong: I’ve Got My TelephoneReviewer: Mike NicholsonPositive Comments: This is some serious yacht rock.
