The instruments really come across as a nice mix, very complimentary.  The vocal is strong and well-balanced against the backing track.  Background harmonies are also nice.<\/p>\n<p><b>Constructive Comments: <\/b>I would have given this a MUCH higher rating except for the distraction of way too much &#8220;effect&#8221; on the lead vocal.  Couldn&#8217;t tell if it was reverb, fast echo or what exactly it was but it took my concentration completely away from the lyrics, especially through the first 30+ seconds.  It&#8217;s so noticeable I thought it was a cymbal at first, but that didn&#8217;t make sense.  Vocal is right on pitch and there&#8217;s no need to cover it in my opinion.
