Cool funk-R&B retro vibe to the arrangement and lyrics. Dug the Way-Wah guitar spinning through the arrangement. Nice recording. Liked the sensual and sexy story-telling that weaved through the song….set up some intrigue, which is had to do today, as so much pop music is just too much in your face. Nice job.<\/p>\n Constructive Comments: <\/b>Mind you these are my semi-blind constructive comments so take them with a grain of salt OR sugar! I don’t think this is really Chicago Blues, more a hybrid funk-R&B style tune. The vocal was a bit pitchy…not the end of the world, but you may want to tend to it and give the song a better chance for a licensing success for the tune. It would be worth it, as this song has great potential. Finally, the lyrics wander a bit, but stayed on-theme. Also, would have loved to have heard a stronger, hammer-like hook….but, again, that is my first impression. All in all it is a fine song and I dug the sensual nature of the tale.
