Reminiscent of the sound of some of the organ-and-sax funk bands of the 70s and 80s, and before that James Brown and the JBs. Funk is all about the groove and the band clearly establishes that, and keeps it rocking throughout the recording. Great driving organ and strong interplay between the rhythm-section and the horns. The saxophone solo was outstanding. The vocalist&#8217;s phrasing fit perfectly into the groove, and added to the overall power of the song.
