Catchy melody in the chorus. You clearly have talent as a songwriter. Continue to study the craft.<\/p>\n<p><b>Constructive Comments: <\/b>Consider a much shorter intro. A publisher will never even get to the first verse with the long intro you have now. And probably need to get to the chorus quite a bit faster. I would place it right after the first verse line &#8220;and waiting for his shot.&#8221; Not sure the section after that about &#8220;living in the waiting room&#8221; adds to the song. Might think about removing that section. The story bounces around a bit much. First the main character is trying to get into music, then a garage business, then the story jumps to you. And I&#8217;m not sure they support your chorus all that well.
