Positive Comments: <\/b>There’s a very good song here and a passionate & convincing vocal performance in the Tom Waits vein.<\/p>\n

Constructive Comments: <\/b>Very murky recording here. The vocals are the most important thing in the tune–I’d remove some of the reverb on the vocal and get the mic closer so the presence is bigger. But not too close –you do want that “in the bar” vibe. Remove the electric guitar parts that are cluttering things up. Same with tinkly piano riffs that don’t jibe with the tune. Sounds like you’re a lyricist and vocalist with a good song and minimal skill on the other instruments and production. And that’s OK –maybe reach out for some collaboration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
