Jeff Roberts<\/a><\/p>\nPositive Comments: <\/b>At first this reminds me of The Human League (Don’t You Want Me Baby?). Definitely in the 80’s school –Human League, Howard Jones, Thompson Twins… It’s a well-crafted tune, and the vocal performance is strong with a nice tenor voice<\/p>\n
Constructive Comments: <\/b>The overall EQ of the instrumental tracks is very high mid without the satisfaction of a thicker bass section. I think I’d want to reel in the highs on the high hat \/ drum parts and make them more subdued and lofi, and remove the “syndrum” tom tom fills. Having some counterpoint 16th note sequenced key parts to add low level texture would be good (I think).
