Song is good , starts of very well, not sure I love the hook … La New Years Blues, not bad by any means, just maybe not the big payoff I’d expect in a commercial song. The line is good, maybe if this went into a slightly more jazzy Michael Franks vein I’d fell like it was a better fit. Singer has the chops.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Broadjam Artist: Steve Dafoe – SongwriterSong: LA New Years Blues (Blues Acoustic)Reviewer: Jeff MaguirePositive Comments: Nice playing and singing, god song, it’s got definite potential in a modern country market with the right production.Constructive…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-46901","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/46901","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=46901"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/46901\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":46902,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/46901\/revisions\/46902"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=46901"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=46901"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=46901"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
