The harmonic structure is simple but spiced up by the modulation to the dominant. The longer phrases at the end of each chorus\/verse add interest to the melody. And then the story, self-deprecating, reassuring, personal, knitted (sewn?) together with witty rhymes . . . and I haven&#8217;t even talked about the duetting voices yet (I guess it&#8217;s all you?). These are the icing on the cake.<\/p>\n<p><b>Constructive Comments: <\/b>The guitar is lively and accurate. The bass line favours repeated notes &#8211; I could imagine a slightly more adventurous bass. The layered dominant seventh vocal harmonies right at the end are gorgeous and all too brief!
