Writer paints a good picture of memories that bring to mind a loved one and special relationship enhanced by the holidays. Lots of good imagery here. Original word picture: Corner lot of trees. Lots of good internal rhymes: Pine/find, take/snowflake. The vocalist a lovely voice, rich and sweet, great emotion. The piano is really great, intro and outro perfect.

Constructive Comments: Sounded like a consistent drum loop throughout. So if you wanted to add “real drums” that might improve. But really, it’s great just as it stands and should be marketable for anyone looking for another secular Christmas carol. Personally I miss Jesus in this kind of a Christmas song. Forgive me if this was a real drummer…you never know!

Broadjam Artist: Sound Preservation RecordsSong: The Trish Hatley Quartet – Darling, Merry ChristmasReviewer: Kate CarpenterPositive Comments: Smooth jazzy easy listening secular Christmas song.
