The overall vibe is just as cool–I love the concept you’ve got here. This is very John\/Julian Lennon meets Bowie–and then midway through you’re going for Andrew Lloyd Weber. The haunting key tracks are superb, and the drum track is so good as well–love the rolling tom groove that gives a big dramatic energy to the tune.<\/p>\n Constructive Comments: <\/b>I think the crucifixion section isn’t working. Not sure whether that’s the design or just the execution here–your vocal performance there isn’t up to what you need (how many Ian Gillan’s are there in the world?). Generally your vocal is the weak link here–sorry to drop that on you. You could probably use your own vocal much better even without resorting to outside help. The vocal track is too dry and close, and there are pitchy parts and some of the phrasing\/melody isn’t as strong as it could be.Please note: I LOVE what you’re doing here. The arrangement and sounds are so incredible.
