The best lyric, in my opinion, was the one with the feel\/real rhyme.  I think that is your best verse.  The chorus is very singable.  Sounds like you had an amazing player on that guitar instrumental.  WOOHOO on that!  <\/p>\n<p><b>Constructive Comments: <\/b>I would shorten the piano intro and bring the drums in sooner.  Work on fresher and more original rhymes.  Came across as &#8220;regular&#8221;: friend\/end.  I&#8217;m not sure I understood the verse about the darkness&#8230;was there a reference to rain?   I wasn&#8217;t real fond of the dissonant ending.  There was no dissonance in the song&#8230;why put it in the ending?
