And maybe just a bit of Tower of Power too.  Nice groove and a lot of clean space in the mix   Sassy wah solo with nice bouncy phrasing&#8211;it sounds really good over top of the powerful bass riffing and big 4\/4 beat.  Pretty sure this is John.  The answering vocals are working great. Love that rhythm section work!<\/p>\n<p><b>Constructive Comments: <\/b>I&#8217;d want to tone the bass a bit dark or dirty it up just tiny bit&#8211;it&#8217;s a little bit bright\/squeaky.  But that is a killer part.  What about a second guitar part that counterpoints the first on the left?  I hate to say it but the vocal is really pitchy in a lot of places here, and it sounds so strained like you&#8217;re trying to let your inner Michael Bolton out.
