This has elements of Jam Band along with Squeeze, Steely Dan, Toto, Beach Boys, and Doobie Brothers. Very nice vocals and harmony. I like the doubled high/low vocals (very Squeeze). This is a mellow mellow sound, and it’s very pleasant to listen to!!!

Constructive Comments: The intro is way too long–it’s :38 before the vocals come in–that’s never going to work. Overall I feel like the tune is too “remote”. Do you have a bus reverb on the mix? It’s got that digital mix drum sound–too far back and pasteurized with reverb. I’d really argue for bringing the drums up more and making them earthier and more immediate (less reverb), along with a more aggressive bass part and mix level.

Broadjam Artist: Ali EdwardsSong: I’m Cryin’Reviewer: Jeff RobertsPositive Comments: Nice open shuffle groove.
