Pair the engaging, anticipatory story with an original, catchy hook and a gritty-passionate vocal and WOW! I like the way the lyrics build up to her coming home and the great time they’re going to have when her plane comes in. It’s a story everyone can relate to and enjoy, and the clear-cut vocals are so easy to understand. “Crank it Up” is a awesome theme and the writer sticks to it. The rhymes are fresh and fun, not trite. FIVE STARS!

Constructive Comments: The beginning of the song seems “cut off”. Fix that and it’s a perfect “simple” recording. Take it to the next level by adding a full band with bass, some fiddle or mandolin, an instrumental section and this song would absolutely soar. I’m not the best judge of commercially viable songs, but in my humble opinion, this song has what it takes…and the artist too!

Broadjam Artist: Keith TaylorSong: Crank It UpReviewer: Kate CarpenterPositive Comments: This man knows how to write a KILLER country song.
