This is a pretty common technique of writing but in this case I don’t really get a clear hook … it started off making me think you were doing a ” band in heaven ” kind of thing, then the emphasis on Taj Mahal seemed like it might want to be a recurring theme. I suppose the theme is ” good music saves my soul ” but you get to it a little late to my ear. If it was me, I might try and focus it down to that a little sooner , even if you have to make it a good deal shorter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Broadjam Artist: Jeff AshbakerSong: Good MusicReviewer: Jeff MaguirePositive Comments: Sounds a little like Neil Young in a country mode, nice vocals, some soulful guitar, and long list of the greats.Constructive Comments: This falls into a genre of s…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-36618","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/36618","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=36618"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/36618\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":36619,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/36618\/revisions\/36619"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=36618"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=36618"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/broadjamreviews.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=36618"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
