J Edna Mae Thomas

Positive Comments: Nice intro with great rich male vocals. Love the lyrics – Grandpa taught me how to ‘Catch the wind’. This is a beautiful song for young children, reminding them of family and family things. I like the hook lyric in particular:’whisper, wiggle, giggle and a grin’This would be a fantastic hook for the kids to join in with as the rhyme, onomatopoeia, and imagery are captivating.Great instrumentation with an easy, relaxing vibe, that was very well performed.A job superbly well done!

Constructive Comments: I really like this song. It is a brilliant example of a children’s song so well done. A suggestion, that could enhance a live performance with a group of children who may be enjoying so much they want to join in, might be:a) more repetition of the hook ‘whisper, wiggle……’ – perhaps with instruments dropping out except drumAnother one for a production might be to add some children’s voices on the music.Fab job!
