Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)

Positive Comments: Good intro, professional sounding. Really nice grooving live tracks, all the way down to the shaker! Good playing, love hearing real players!! Outstanding melodies going on throughout. Great to hear a knowledgeable and musical composition. Nice breakdown around 3:05. Good song, I enjoy hearing jazz like this, best of luck!!

Constructive Comments: Mix seems bass heavy, if you clear out some sub-frequencies 20kh – 60hz there won’t be so much rumble and it will be easier to hear the crispness of the instruments. So ‘tape damage’ or low end feedback around 2:20… Maybe this was not mastered. Guitar solo at 3:30 is buried, needs the tone brightened up. Ok, obviously this is an old recording with sonic issues, I can’t help point them out, it is part of my critique process. No negative scoring on the song because of this. The lead instrument in the 1:30 section is also underneath the accompaniment…. Lot’s of mix issues which hurts this above average composition. A little too much happening musically in a few sections… Piano, organ, percussion, guitar and bass solo. It’s groovy but a bit too many at the party at times for me.
