I think you have a really good chorus here. First words out of your heart (not mouth, that was creative). And thank God your next line wasn’t “I’d know we’d never part.” \ud83d\ude42 Your first verse is the strongest with the sunshine\/warming\/magnet word pictures. Bridge is well placed. I liked the triple rhyme same\/name\/came. I liked the honesty\/freshness of the lyric “I hoped you weren’t already taken” Wide open was a stretch but it sort of worked as a soft rhyme. <\/p>\n
Constructive Comments: <\/b>Vocals are a bit muddy and hard to discern the words in certain parts. Pitch is sometimes an issue. I’d like to see more consistency in the rhyme scheme in the verses. It seems rather haphazard to me. Keep working, songwriter! You’ve got a good start (just like the relationship in the song).
