Positive Comments: This reminds me of something from George Benson…smooth, grooving, and moving. Very impressive! Production and mix on this is PRO all the way. I loved listening to this groove. Trust me… This will be added to my faves playlist. Simply outstanding.

Constructive Comments: I was looking for more of a change-up in the song somewhere. But it’s great as it stands.

Positive Comments: I really liked the interplay between the two rythm guitars. Nice lead breaks, totally hot effect on the intro lead got my attention immediately. Perfect quality for the lead vocal. Nice easy blues pace. Great instrumental mix, nothing was dominating over the vocal, and the guitar and organ leads came to the front. I wanted to hear more. You know your genre’.

Constructive Comments: I have nothing constructive to offer, you “nailed” it.

Positive Comments: This is really GREAT MUSIC!!!! Love the feel and the style of this composition……very unusual/unique, very one of a kind!! I am a huge fan at this point in time!!! Sounds like Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young, with a touch of YES. Love the vocalist…..WOWZA!! This tune should be on everyone’s playlist…………

Constructive Comments: There is nothing to add to this review……….this is just flat out KILLER!! Great job BOYS!!! Can’t wait to find out who this group is????

Positive Comments: Great intro this could be Earth, Wind, and Fire but then you settle into a Lee Ritenour vibe. Every instrument is in the pocket with great tone and super playing. If you told me that this was The Yellowjackets I’d believe it. Superb!!

Constructive Comments: Maybe the bass is too loud? That’s splitting hairs though. This is excellent work that should be on a Smooth Jazz radio program.

Positive Comments: Like the sound of the intro guitar………..like the jazz feel, very Hep!! I would like the vocal to be just a tad more out front! Somewhat hard to understand the lyrics…but they sound interesting!! Sounds a little like Mr. Hendrix, can’t get any better than that!! Great Job my friend!!! Let’s hear more!!! Wowza!!!

Constructive Comments: Maybe put the lead vocal out front a little more, love to know what you are saying in your Kool composition!! Love to hear more!! Keep up the HOT Music!!!

Positive Comments: Very nice sound – I especially like the piano runs, really has a very staccato sound, I also like the sax – very cool!

Constructive Comments: Not a lot of negatives – very professional sounding tune, I think the saxophone may take over this a piece a little too much even though it sounds fantastic! Instead of a flat top guitar – I would like to hear a little more of an edge with a lead electric guitar – best wishes and may God bless!

Earth to Angel by Vicki Lee

Song: Earth to Angel

Reviewer: CAEDMON’S DREAM

Positive Comments: * unique lead vocals* song has memorable chorus/hook* lyrics have a strong universal message * simple instrumentation & nice chord changes* could be a movie “message” piece

Constructive Comments: + production is clear but mono track stereo sound-field can help each instrument stand out+ doubled vocals loses clarity in lyric at times+ chorus vocal is strong: but a unique instrumental part or lead-line to go along with chorus would help it stand apart from rest of the song

Reviewer: CAEDMON’S DREAM

Positive Comments: * Keyboards and vocals stand out* String lines are clear and lush* A “Disney” musical feel* Nice performance and production!

Constructive Comments: + Adding one more musical element in the bridge (ex. bass, cymbal rolls, or other) could help it stand out+ non-diatonic chord change in piano intro threw me off (not really there in verse or chorus is it?)+ key modulation could be effective for last chorus melody line stays constant and can get repetitive+ very nice tempo change for ending+ I like this piece alot, I hope my comments don’t sound negative.
