Positive Comments: This song has some nice instrumentation. The mix is good between the instruments and the vocal. The vocalist has a great, unique sounding voice and is very well in tune without any pitchiness. I like the piano and synth parts, and how they come in and go out. There is a nice synth arpeggio that catches my ear. The buildup on the last chorus is good and much needed. Your recording and mixing skills are pretty good. This sounds like a pretty song about a first love.
Constructive Comments: This song is pretty sounding, yes. But it seems to bear the mark of a song written by a new songwriter who hasn’t been writing long. The lyric sounds to be written by someone very young. Someone who, this is their first love and it’s all rainbows and roses. You need to get your heart broken a couple times. This lyric has all been said before exactly like this. It’s not new. One of the challenges of songwriting is to to say “I Love You” in a fresh new way, without saying “I love you”. This lyric is “same old same old”. I’m not trying to be Simon Cowell here, but you need to know this if you want to get better at songwriting. Keep at it. Yu will only get better with each new song.
