Positive Comments: A heart felt story from a through and through song writer. If the lyrical content is on? It’ll be perfect for a lifetime movie of the week or even the right indie project. If the song writer were to consider outsourcing the vocals and reproducing a new session, this could have a huge emotional impact on the right audience, for now… It’s a solid pitch of a personal story.

Constructive Comments: The effects will drown out your vocal presentation’s lyrical content without some good compression to bring everything into uniform levels. Forget about the fact you’re not a world class vocalist. Neither was Janis. Still wanna party with her in the afterlife. Take the effects off. Get the vocals to sound personal instead. Hit your guitar with some dynamics too. Watch the levels on your master… You wanna get both your vocals and the guitar into a nice bouncy waveform that breathes after you dynamically fluff everything. I know a guy in Phoenix that has access to world class vocalists starting at $500 and going North of 1k for buyout services. I have a few of my own as well. Reach out if you’re interested… I can talk a few of them and engineer your sessions if you’d like to take a new approach.
