Positive Comments: I think there is a great potential in this song. Ik like the opening with the whoo-hoo melody. It works well here. The pre-chorus works well too, building up to that chorus, with the whoo-hoo helping us glide smoothly into the chorus. Great work! The song is sung perfectly and the melodies of the production compliment the build up and climaxes in the song exactly like they should.I like how the progression in the pre-chorus is a bit different than the rest of the song, which gives it a fresh start for the chorus!Whoo-hoo! I think you are almost there and I will come and dance when the song is released! 🙂

Constructive Comments: Just some thins to think about: Do you want to give away the song title and chorus part right in the first 10 seconds of the song? I think it is strong, but giving it away in the start of the song, takes away from building up to the best part when we have already heard it.The story seems to shift from the focus on the other person in the first verses to the I person in the verses after the chorus, but to me – without a logical story. The Bridge seems a little long, I would try to bring the same message within half of the bars. You, revenue, clue seem a bit like a forced rhyme. Maybe you can find near rhymes that will work well here too, without the rhyming becoming too obvious.Last, but not least: I think without some of the extra instruments in the production (so a cleaner version), the song would come across stronger. The melody lines of the lyrics are strong enough to carry the song!Great work!

Positive Comments: I like the easy flow of the song…. bit of a country-bluesy vibe in the vocals… (a bit of Tom Petty…)nice gtr harmony solo…

Constructive Comments: nice flowing song with harmonies…but the over-all recording is a bit weak…which makes the song less dynamic and hard to really feel the energy. If you could re-record it with a bit more clarity and punch the song would step up and make you notice! Cheers!!

Positive Comments: The instrumentation is excellent great playing all round especially the lead vocal. Nice use of backing vocals too. The lyrics are very strong. Strong chord progression. The song is very well recorded and the sound quality is top notch.

Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the hook not because the song doesn’t have a strong hook but because I would have liked more light and shade in the song more structural variety, for want of a better expression. I think the verses and bridge need to be more distinctive to create tension which would find release as the song progresses to ‘heartbeat’ section.

Positive Comments: Solid Rocking blues tune in classic blues rock style, vocalist has a rough but very authentic voice.

Constructive Comments: It’s good, but the constructive criticism would basically be that the guitarist is overplaying the vocals. Personally I’d pull back on many of the fills during vocal and bring the vocal up substantially. Voice is rough but real, not like Howlin Wolf had a sweet sounding voice, it, I’d focus on that. And I see no reason for the guitar solo intro musically, certainly not that long of one, maybe a short wham of a drum riff/ guitar riff.

Constructive Comments: I think the vocals could be made a tad better with EQ. Like the overall sound—would suggest a chord change somewhere along the way.Good Luck! =========catnip pat==========
